Mountain Dew, or Mtn Dew, is a fizzy soft drink. The original recipe was invented in 1940 at two beverage bottlers in Tennessee, Barney and Ally Hartman. Pepsi-Cola acquired the brands and production rights in 1964, then distributed the drink throughout the United States. 

The drink is now produced in several flavors. 

Mountain Dew Baja Blast is available from April 30 and only for a limited time. The taste is reminiscent of tropical lemonade.
